Mission, Vision, And Beliefs
Spirit and Truth Christian Church Ministries is:
Spirit filled and Spirit led
We are transformed by the Spirit of God and, therefore, rely on His guidance for all that we do.
Great Commission
The Great Commission of Christianity is the instruction of Jesus Christ to His disciples that they spread His teachings to all the nations of the world. It has become a tenet in Christian theology emphasizing ministry, missionary work, evangelism, and baptism.
Non-Denominational
We are a Christian church and adhere to the wisdom, history, and facts of the holy scriptures in both old and new testaments and value all denominations, sound, biblical doctrine, and emphasized practices.
Multi-Ethnic
We intentionally reach out to and acknowledge the different ethnicities and cultures with no preference to one above any other.
Empowerment Zone
We seek opportunities to empower every believer with the knowledge, support, and resources to live the call of God on their life.
Traditional and non-traditional elements
We intentionally include elements of worship, liturgy, and disciplines from traditional and non-traditional backgrounds as the Lord leads. We cannot please everyone but our desire is to appreciate the diversity in the body of Christ that comes from all walks of life.
Vision
A group of people whose love, lives, and works are proof that Christ was indeed sent by God. It is according to the scripture:
John 17:21
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”

What We Believe
Salvation
Salvation comes from God through Jesus Christ. Upon hearing, understanding, and believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, one becomes an heir of eternal salvation. Salvation is life encompassing which comes to a person in a moment but is an ever unfolding reality that is increasingly experienced in this life and fully experienced in the life to come.
Gal 3:29 “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was sent by God, born of a virgin, and raised in a household subject to His parents. He was tempted in every in all aspects of life like men yet without sinning. He was betrayed, crucified, buried in a tomb that was sealed and guarded, and raised from the dead. Upon His resurrection, He was seen by more than 500 people and then ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right Hand of the throne of God. his life and testimony are historically accurate and were all prophesied.
God
There is one God and Father of us all who created all things of His own purpose and counsel. He is self-sufficient, all knowing, and there is none beside Him
Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit is a promise of God. He regenerates of the spirits of men, continually guides and comforts us, and reminds of all the things that Jesus said. Hie gifts us according to the will of God and works within God’s will. He is not under the power of any and cannot be summoned for any work apart from the will of God.
Trinity
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three in one and One in three. We believe this is a great mystery which, in humility, we confess that we cannot explain. One plus one plus one equals three on earth. It equals One in heaven.
Church
The Church is world-wide and is one body in Christ. It is not confined to walls, creeds, confessions, or any institution. The local assemblies that we call church are where believers meet consistently for edification, growth, support, confirmation, mission service, and to build one another up. It is expected of all believer to be a part of a local assembly.
Heb 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
Hell
We believe that hell (scripturally called a lake of fire) is as literal as the molten lava in volcanoes. We believe that it’s original purpose is perfectly described in scripture:
Mat 25:41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels...”
It was never God’s will to send man to hell but it has always been Satan’s plan to lure men into a life that leads there.
Thus, the scripture is clear about those whom Satan lures into an ungodly lifestyle and never repent:
1Co 6:9-10 “...Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
The Bible
We believe the bible is consistent in thought, accurate in historic detail, and has a central theme of redemption. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit and penned by God’s prophets and apostles. It includes all that God intends for it to include and is enough for the growth, health, and wellbeing of the saints.
NOTE:
